Street Art Dealer Logo

The project has just been launched after an opening last week in Bristol.

Street Art Dealer is a C6 project that takes the original concept of street art and combines it with QR code technology to create a tool that allows an increasingly tech savvy public to use their mobile phones to own, interact and locate art in their community. Aiming to promote engagement with the meaning of street art in the context of it’s environment, providing a route outside of the gallery system for artists to engage directly with the viewing public and allowing the public a new and innovative way to interact with art on the street.

Ive been working on the art-working of the new branding and the layout and coding of the new HTML.

There was a very loose feel to the creative brief, the requirement needed the artwork to be used in various places and in various ways, so it was more about the ‘feel’ of the artwork than the final logo.

The typeface came form the glorious and distinguished House Industries font foundries, and was intrinsic in getting the right feel for the graphics.

The fragments below document the various stages we went through whilst exploring the style for the brand;

With these idea worked-through, we moved onto the web page layout.

So, I guess its not really that exciting, but i wanted to document this process and plug the site and project at the same time.
